Compare the price gap with the amount you would lose if you cancelled. If losing that amount would bother you, the discount is really selling you risk.

Keep the confirmation email and add a calendar reminder a few days before the free-cancellation deadline. A flexible rate is only useful if you do not miss the date.

Check the dates, the number of guests and the children’s ages, the room category, the meal plan, the cancellation deadline and the total amount payable one last time.
